Ms Wesenauer and her daughter are the owners of an animal shelter in Austria as well as the directors of the Bubastis foundation in Ausztria.
They have been a great help for the unfortunate dogs of Sopron not only at the demonstration but personally as well.
They have given two car-load of dog food for the animal shelter of Győr, then for the shelter of Siófok, and they have donated approximately 1000 kg of dog food for our main distribution centre.
Because the lack of internet on their part, it has been difficult to keep contact with them, they could only contact us through relations, that's why we had some confusion in the past about them.

Diese Tierheime werden ununterbrochen durch Spenden (Sach - und Geld) unterstützt, unter Anderem von den Firmen Purina, und Pet Hungária GmbH und durch private Leute.
Durch diese Spenden ist die Verpflegung dieser Hunde gewährleistet!
Wir schreiben diesen Rundbrief, weil wir aus verschiedenen Ecken über Sammelaktionen für die Soproner Hunde hören, die "kurz vorm Verhungern" sind.
Wir sind froh, wenn auch Andere sich um diese Hunde kümmern, wir haben aber keine Informationen darüber, wo die Spenden von diesen Aktionen landen.
Bei uns werden die Spendenaktionen durch den MÁTSZ (Ungarischer Tier - und Naturschutzverein) koordiniert, und Herr Péter Kis sammelt die Sachspenden (e-mail: kp117@axelero.hu) und die werden unter den Tierheimen verteilt.
Unsere Bitte an die Hundefreunde: besuchen Sie bitte ein Tierheim wo diese Hunde z.Zt. wohnen.
Sie können dort natürlich ihre Spende abgeben, und Sie können auch tatsächlich helfen.
An dem Gesundheitsstatus dieser Hunde helfen Tierärzte und die Tierpfleger, für die Seele dieser Hunde können aber nur Leute helfen, die ein bisschen mehr Zeit für die einzelnen Hunde haben. Ausser Futter brauchen diese Hunde auch ganz viele Liebe!!!

We continuously provide the shelters with quantities of dog food and financial help as and when they request it thanks to the donations.
Among others a special thank you to PURINA, Pet Hungaria Ltd and private donations!
In this way the care of the dogs at the shelters is being provided for.
The reason for this announcement is that we have received information that various donations are being collected for the "starving Sopron dogs" and we have no knowledge as to where these donations are going.
In Hungary, at the moment with the help and coordination of MATSZ (Hungarian Association for Animal and Nature Lovers) Peter Kis (Szezam) is coordinating and collecting (primarily material) donations, which we then allocate to the various centres.
We would like to ask all concerned if there is a possibility to visit the rescue centres closest to their residence to hand over any material donations personally. All these centres are very much looking for physical help in caring for these dogs. Their physical, dietary and medical care is only part of their needs; only human contact and tender loving care can help rehabilitate their souls.
The shelters also have foreign sponsors collecting for them, all contact details can be found on:

There is a special bank account for aid to the “Sopron dogs”, all donations to this account will be guaranteed to be used for helping these dogs at the various shelters by contributing to their vet fees, etc.

Hopefully the legal procedures will be finalized as soon as possible and as a result of a precedent verdict the permanent re-homing of the dogs can start.
